Eligibility

The AIR MILES NBA All Star Dream Sweepstakes is open only to Canadian resident AIR MILES Collectors who are 21 years of age or older.

Period

The AIR MILES NBA All Star Dream Sweepstakes ends at 11:59 p.m. on December 19.

How to Enter

Entry Option A – Use Miles:

A Collector will receive one (1) Contest entry when he/she uses 50 Miles; or Three (3) Contest entries when he/she uses 100 Miles; or Seven (7) Contest entries when he/she uses 200 Miles; or Fifteen (15) Contest entries when he/she uses 400 Miles, (each of (i), (ii), (iii) or (iv), an “Entry Option A”), in each case that the Collector has accumulated in his/her Collector Dream Account, using the online Contest entry mechanism found at airmiles.ca/NBAAllStarSweepstakesContest. Once Miles are used for one or more Entry Option A’s as set forth above, they will no longer be available for further use or redemption.

Entry Option B – NO PURCHASE OR USE OF MILES IS NECESSARY:

To receive one (1) entry without using any Miles, a Collector must submit his or her first and last name, complete mailing address including city, province, postal code, daytime phone number, e-mail address and AIR MILES Collector Number plus a fifty (50) word or more original essay describing “Why I want to attend NBA All-star event” and e-mail to: [email protected] with “AIR MILES Dream Sweepstakes: NBA All Star Sweepstakes contest” in the subject line of the e-mail.

Prizes

There are three (3) Prizes available to be won, consisting of the following elements. Limit of one (1) Prize per Collector and per Collector Number. The Prizes will be drawn in the following descending order:

NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND GRAND PRIZE. The Prize consists of the following elements:

  • Round-trip economy class flight tickets for the Winner and one (1) guest, departing from a major Canadian airport closest to the Winner’s residence in Canada to Los Angeles International Airport, Los Angeles, California on Feb 15 and returning on Feb 19
  • Four (4) Nights’ accommodation for the Winner and one (1) guest at a hotel near the Venue to be selected by the Contest Sponsor in its sole discretion
  • All Star Ticket Package which includes two (2) tickets to each of the Celebrity Game, All Star Saturday Night, and 67th NBA All-Star Game (total of six (6) tickets) for use by the Winner and one (1) guest
  • Return car service transportation for the Winner and one (1) guest from Los Angeles International Airport to the Hotel
  • Return Car Service transportation for the Winner and one (1) Guest to and from the Venue for each of the three events
  • NBA Store Gift Card valued at $500
  • Spending money in the amount of $500 for the Winner.

The total approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $9,000.

Second Prize:

  • NBA Store Gift Card valued at $1,000

Third Prize:

  • NBA Store Gift Card valued at $500

The total approximate retail value of all three Prizes is $10,500.
