Eligibility for the Seekr – Jack – Umms The Word Contest

  • Open to Canadian residents who are 18 years or older as of the date of entry.
  • Must reside within the listening range of JACK 96.9 (Calgary) or JACK 92.9 (Halifax).

Contest end date

  • Ends when the final celebrity “Umm” is guessed correctly, starting from 7am on September 14.

How to enter

  • Listen to JACK 96.9 (Calgary) or JACK 92.9 (Halifax) weekdays at approximately 7am, 9am, 2pm, and 4pm during the Entry Period.
  • Within 2 minutes of the cue to text, send a message starting with the hourly keyword and your name to 969123 (Calgary) or 929929 (Halifax).

  • Finalists are selected via random draw from eligible messages and must play the on-air “Umms The Word” game.

Prizes

  • Six (6) prizes available: three (3) per Participating Station (JACK 96.9 and JACK 92.9).
  • Prizes per station: $5,000, $7,500, and $10,000.
  • Prizes are awarded via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and may take up to 8 weeks to process.
