Who can Enter the Contest ?
The Canada Day Contest: discover, celebrate and win Contest is open to all Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.
When does the Contest end ?
The Contest ends at 11:59 p.m. EST, on July 1.
How to Enter ?
To enter the Contest, eligible entrants must visit canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/campaigns/canada-day/celebration-kit.html. Complete the entry form. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person.
What are the Prizes to be won ?
One (1) grand prize valued at $11,500, four (4) second prizes valued at $250 and sixty (60) second prizes valued at $100 are available to be won as part of the Contest.
One grand prize
- A one-hour (1 h) virtual cooking class with Chef Ricardo valued at $10,000. The cooking class will be interactive, meaning that the winner will cook live with the chef. The class can be adapted to the winner’s needs (e.g. taste preferences, allergies) within the parameters of the contest rules. The winner will have the opportunity to invite up to eight (8) friends to take part in the class
- Gift package of RICARDO products valued at $500
- A $1,000 Giant Tiger gift card
The total retail value of the grand prize (excluding taxes) is $11,500. The grand prize cannot be redeemed for cash.
Multiple second prizes
- Four (4) gift cards of $250 each that can be used in any RICARDO Boutique
- Sixty (60) gift cards of $100 each that can be used in any Giant Tiger store
The total retail value of the second prizes (excluding taxes) is $7,000. The second prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
