DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES: The Goodyear Mountain Pass Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on December 10, 2013, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on January 26, 2014 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Void where prohibited.ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (“Sponsor”), Wunderman, LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, parent companies, advertising, promotion or any other agencies or entities involved with this Sweepstakes and members of their immediate families (biological or step) including parents, grandparents, children, siblings or spouses of any of the foregoing (regardless of where they live), or household members of any of the above, whether related or not, are NOT eligible to participate.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, participants may enter by visiting www.Goodyear.com/MountainPass (the “Website”) and answering three (3) Goodyear or USSA-related trivia questions. The trivia questions do not need to be answered correctly in order to enter the Sweepstakes. After answering the trivia questions, participants will be prompted to complete the entry form with their first and last name, complete address, including ZIP code, phone number, email address and date of birth (the “Entry Form”). Once the Entry Form is complete, click the “Submit” button to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. All email addresses are subject to verification prior to being allocated an entry. Limit one (1) entry per person/per email address for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. EST on January 26, 2014. If there is a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder. The Authorized Account Holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. No automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted, and individuals engaging in such practices will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries. PRIZES: One (1) GRAND PRIZE: Grand Prize Package consists of a trip for winner and one (1) guest (who is 18 years of age or older) to the 2014 Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships from March 20 – 23, 2014 in Squaw Valley, California; round trip coach class airfare for winner and guest from a major commercial airport nearest winner’s residence within the U.S. to Reno Tahoe International Airport; four (4) days’/three(3) nights’ hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy at hotel chosen by Sponsor); ground transportation in Squaw Valley, CA (to/from airport/hotel, hotel/race); two (2) VIP passes that provide lift access for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of event weekend to the 2014 Nature Valley U.S. Alpine championships, and one (1) certificate that is good for one (1) set of four (4) Goodyear tires (the “Grand Prize”). Actual travel dates will be specified by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. The dates specified by Sponsor are the dates that the trip must occur, and such dates are not flexible. If winner is unable to travel on designated dates, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries, time permitting. Sponsor will determine seat location for all events in its sole discretion. The certificate is good for one (1) set of four (4) Goodyear tires, with a value of up to $1,800 and is subject to all terms and conditions listed thereon. Mounting, balancing, valve stems and incidental shop, disposal charges and taxes (where applicable) are not included and are the sole responsibility of winner. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize is: $5,000. The ARV of the Grand Prize is based on estimated airfare as of October 2013. Actual retail value may vary based on point of departure and/or airfare fluctuations. Any difference between the stated approximate value and actual value of the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
Five (5) FIRST PRIZES: one (1) certificate that is good for one (1) set of four (4) Goodyear tires. The certificate is good for one (1) set of Goodyear tires, with a value of up to $1,800 and is subject to all terms and conditions listed thereon. Mounting, balancing, valve stems and incidental shop and disposal charges (where applicable) are not included and are the sole responsibility of winner. The ARV of First Prize is: $1,800 each.Total ARV of all prizes is $14,000. Limit one (1) prize per person/household. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
