Eligibility

The Petro-Points Fuel Up for Gold Contest / Concours Faites le plein pour l’or / Concours Plein au Gaz is open to residents of Canada only who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence.

Timing

The Petro-Points Fuel Up for Gold Contest ends on august 29 at PM 11h59.

How to participate

Every time an entrant purchases Petro-Points Products or Services at any Petro-Canada station in Canada, the Eligible Entrant automatically qualifies for one (1) ballot into the Contest. Petro-Points Eligible Products or Services are defined as a minimum purchase that earns at least one (1) PETRO-POINT on PETRO-POINTS-eligible Petro-Canada products or services.

Grand Prize

There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded of “Free Gas for 50 Years” (or as advertised in Quebec “$120,000 in Gas”); such prize will be a one-time credit of $120,640 to a single Petro-Canada SuperPass Card, or another payment vehicle as determined by Suncor. The value of the Grand Prize is based on an average annual gasoline purchase amount of $2,412.80 per year (40 litres of gasoline per week, at a cost of $1.16 per litre, multiplied by 52 weeks) multiplied by fifty (50) years.

Secondary Prizes

There will be ten (10) Secondary Prizes awarded of “Free Gas for 1 Year” (or as advertised in Quebec “$2,400 in Gas”); such prizes will be a one-time credit of $2,412 in the form of Petro-Canada Gift Cards, or another payment vehicle as determined by Suncor. The value of this Prize is based on an average weekly gasoline purchase of 40 litres of gasoline per week, at a cost of $1.16 per litre, multiplied by 52 weeks..

There will be ten (10) Secondary Prizes awarded of “Free Gas for 6 months” (or as advertised in Quebec “$1,200 in Gas”); such prizes will be a one-time credit of $1,207 in the form of Petro-Canada Gift Cards, or another payment vehicle as determined by Suncor. The value of this Prize is based on an average weekly gasoline purchase of 40 litres of gasoline per week, at a cost of $1.16 per litre, multiplied by 26 weeks.
