Eligibility

The World Through My Lens Photo Challenge is open to legal residents of Canada over 18 years of age.

Timing

The World Through My Lens Photo Challenge ends on October 31 at 11:59pm Eastern Time.

How to enter

All entries must be submitted through the website hongkong2016.photonews.ca. Please complete the full form. Limit of Five (5) entries per person.

Prize

Three winning photographs will be selected from the eligible entries. One grand-prize winner will be awarded from all eligible entries.

There will be one (1) grand prize of a four night round trip for two (2) persons to Hong Kong from Vancouver/Toronto to Hong Kong including connecting flights for prizewinner who is resident of other cities. The promotional value of the tour package is approximately CDN $6,000.

The grand prize of Hong Kong trip for two persons is valid for travel until November 30, which includes:

  • Return air transportation on Economy Class from Vancouver/Toronto to Hong Kong, courtesy of Cathay Pacific Airways
  • Connecting flights for prizewinner who is resident of other cities
  • Four (4) nights hotel accommodation in Hong Kong courtesy of The Langham Hong Kong Hotel
  • Airport/hotel/airport transfers in Hong Kong
  • One Explore Hong Kong Tour

The Grand Prize also includes a Nikon D5500 with a 18-55mm VR II Lens kit, a Vanguard Kinray 53 Purple Backpack (Model VAK53PR) and a Vanguard VEO AM-234 (product code VAVEOAM234). Total approximate retail value of the grand prize is $7,500.00.

Second prize is a Nikon COOLPIX AW130 and a Vanguard Kinray 48 Purple Backpack (Model VAK48PR). Total approximate retail value of the second prize is $590.00.

Third prize is a Nikon COOLPIX AW130 and a Vanguard Kinray 43 Purple Sling bag (Model VAK43PR). Total approximate retail value of the third prize is $510.00.
